In 2017, the Terre des Étoiles ecolodge hosted and co-led the spirit of the earth Fellah Forum. In this unique event, speakers and participants from different countries attended meetings, debates, screenings and workshops on the sustainable management of water and soil in Africa for improved health and shared development: Potable water access, food safety and security, and reforestation of African deserts were discussed among professionals, researchers and foundations in a spirit of cooperation and learning.
